Change of company name
In Jan/Feb 2022, Steve Jenkins & Associates Pty Ltd changed name to APR Laboratory Pty Ltd trading as the Australian Photometry and Radiometry Laboratory (APRLab).
The intention of the name change is to make the nature of the business more clearly identifiable directly from the trading name. The main focus of the business is our NATA-accredited public testing laboratory which primarily deals with photometry and radiometry, i.e. measurement of light and optical radiation. The services provided by the laboratory are shown on this website (see Testing and Calibration Services).
The complimentary part of the business is our consultancy service which provides services such as:
- Visual ergonomics (study of human visual processes and the interactions between humans and other elements of a system).
- Accident investigation (relating to lighting, glare, etc.).
- Photobiological hazard and safety evaluation.
- Education and training.
- Measurement uncertainty.
